Commvault's Second Tuesday series
Commvault and Arrow. Better together.
Tuesday Tech Talk Series: Recover in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework

Come join us in August to hear about how Commvault helps with the recovery phase of the NIST framework. We will also discuss other Arrow vendors to help build out that comprehensive solution.

  • The recovery plan should commence after identifying the root cause and restoring files, with the goal of using proper security tools to mitigate any future potential impacts. During the recovery phases, it is vital to recover only clean files from all affected technologies.
  • Commvault provides comprehensive recovery capabilities that include performing forensics securely in isolated networks to avoid further infections. Using File Data Analysis, it detects files that may be encrypted or corrupted by malware, ensuring that infected files are not backed up. Additionally, threat analysis is incorporated during the restore process to detect malicious content in backed-up data, preventing the reinfection of production systems while restoring from the last good point-in-time backups. Commvault also offers disaster and cyber recovery orchestration with automated compliance reporting, allowing for one-click recovery of clean copies across workloads after validating and sanitizing recovery points.
  • Commvault's solutions also include rapid cloud-scale recovery without limitations on recovery locations, combining continuous testing, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud scaling to automate fast, predictable, and reliable cyber recovery of hybrid workloads to the cloud at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
