General Information

What is the Citrix mid-market and SMB agreement that went into effect on March 3, 2025?

As of March 3, 2025, Arrow is responsible for providing all sales of Citrix licenses for Citrix mid-market and SMB customers in North America and Europe. Read more.

What is the Citrix sole distributor agreement that goes into effect on June 2, 2025?

Beginning on June 2, 2025, Arrow will serve as the sole Citrix distributor for all channel partners in North America and Europe.

If I am a partner in India / South Korea / ANZ, how do the changes impact me?

There is no change.

Why did Citrix decide to pursue this agreement?

Citrix created a new channel partner-driven go-to-market model for mid-market and SMB customers to offer greater growth opportunities and more flexibility. When engaging with mid-market and SMB accounts, Citrix channel partners should work exclusively with Arrow. When engaging with Enterprise accounts, channel partners will continue to work with Citrix and Arrow will serve as the distributor.

Will the current support my customers are getting change?

Your customers will continue to receive support and software maintenance from Citrix.

Quoting / Pricing

How do I view an existing quote or obtain a new quote?

North America customers can view their quotes in the ArrowSphere platform. Questions can be sent to citrixonboarding@arrow.com.

If I need a quote for a customer renewal, can I still use the distributor that I used for the original deal?

Beginning March 3, 2025, for Citrix commercial accounts, you should work with Arrow to obtain a quote. For Citrix enterprise accounts, you may still obtain quotes from any active Citrix distributor. However, beginning June 2, 2025, all quotes in North America and Europe must be obtained through Arrow.

What is Arrow’s pricing model for Citrix offerings?

Arrow will announce its pricing model directly to channel partners. Contact your Arrow account representative for more information.

What currency will be in my quotes?

All quotes will be done in US dollars and the exchange rate to local currency will be applied at time of invoicing. For Canadian channel partners, quotes will be done in Canadian dollars unless otherwise requested.

I have never worked with Arrow; do I need an agreement/contract?

Yes, you will need to be established as a channel partner to transact with Citrix commercial accounts. North America channel partners can onboard here.

Can I buy direct from Citrix instead of using a distributor?

No.

Where can I register my deals with Arrow?

North America channel partners can register deals in the ArrowSphere platform.

Rebates

What discount / rebate will I get on customer deals that are not Citrix Enterprise accounts?

Arrow has established a new partner program and incentives. Please contact your local Arrow account executive to discuss.

If an original order was booked with a distributor prior to the June 2, 2025 when Arrow becomes Citrix’s sole distributor, who will Citrix require payment from for the future year’s annual billings to release the Fusion Partner rebate?

If a multi-year agreement with scheduled billing was booked with a prior distributor, they will remain the billing entity until expiration of termination of the license.

Can I still buy Citrix through my usual distributor?

Beginning March 3, 2025, you may only transact with Arrow for Citrix commercial accounts. For Citrix Enterprise accounts there are no distribution changes planned prior to June 2. After June 2, Arrow will be the sole authorized distributor for Citrix Enterprise accounts in North America and Europe.

What is Arrow’s pricing model for Citrix offerings?

What does the new Arrow Plus Partner program cover?

The program covers the Citrix licence portfolio, private cloud, NetScaler, universal hybrid multi-cloud and Citrix maintenance services.

Information For Channel Partners New to Arrow

What is changing for Citrix channel partners?

Can I identify net new customers now that I transact through Arrow?

If I currently use another distributor for my Citrix products, how do I transition my business to Arrow?

It is recommended you create an account with Arrow as soon as possible to ensure continuity of your Citrix business. North America channel partners register here.

How long will it take to onboard with Arrow?

Onboarding times can range from 48 hours to several days, depending on the information provided and time required for a credit check. Arrow encourages all Citrix partners to register now to avoid any delays in business. North America channel partners register here.

What will happen to my current orders if they are not delivered by the transition deadline?

The incumbent distributor remains responsible for delivering on any orders placed prior to the March 3, 2025 and June 2, 2025 transition dates.

Information For Existing Arrow Partners

Do I need to do anything if I already use Arrow as my Citrix distributor?

If you are an active channel partner with Arrow and have transacted within the last 24 months, no further action is required.

Can I continue identifying net new customers?

Yes. For opportunities with potential net-new Citrix commercial accounts, please work with Arrow directly.

How does Arrow determine expansion and net-new business opportunities?

They are determined by customer ID and address.

What types of services are available from Arrow to help supplement my Citrix business?

Arrow’s managed service for NetScaler is designed for channel partners to integrate into their services portfolio and create upsell opportunities. Arrow managed service for NetScaler includes three levels of offerings:

  • NetScaler config analyzer is a free web-based tool for first-level configuration analysis.
  • NetScaler Discover is a paid service providing in-depth NetScaler audit with remediation plan and recommendations.
  • NetScaler managed service is a subscription-based service providing continuous monitoring, proactive support and code optimization and security.

Arrow is also a Citrix Authorized Training Provider and hosts Citrix courses and workshops in its education training centers.
